Ask and Answer Questions and Earn

I always love to help other in any way I can. I have joined a lot of sites like yahoo answers, askville, and Mahalo. And I enjoyed my experience doing some research and helping others find answers to questions. I also love giving advice and sharing my thoughts and ideas that I deem helpful to others that will serve as a guide for them especially when it comes to relationships.
And recently, a good friend of mine named Valerie from Kentucky, USA shared with me this new and interesting site where you can ask questions, its free; and answer questions at the same time. You will have the potential for earning through Google Adsense.
If you are like me who enjoyed asking and answering questions, this is the site for you!

Asia's Snake Wine

Snakes are types of carnivorous reptiles that are devoid of legs. There are many different types of snakes like cobras, rattlesnake, boas to name a few. Some of the snakes are poisonous but many are not.
Snake are also used as ingredients for wine. It originated in Vietnam and can be found in South East Asia like Thailand, Indonesia, and the Philippines.
Venomous snakes are usually made into wine but the meat are not preserved but for their venomous poison which is dissolved in the liquor.
Since the venom of snake is protein-based they are often inactivated by the effects of ethanol that is found in liquors.
A large venomous snake is placed inside a glass of rice wine and left to steep for several months. The wine is then drunk using small cups. Body fluids of snake are mixed with the wine and consumed right away in a shot.

The Best Job in the World

I remembered a close friend of mine called me and asked me if I already have a job. That was 14 years ago and I was a full time mom to a one-year old daughter that time.
I told her, "Yes, I have the best job in the world and I work 24/7. She was surprised and curious about the job and I told her that I am a full time home maker. And my job is very demanding indeed. For me being a wife and a mother and keeping the house intact is very challenging. I finished a Bachelor's Degree but the lessons I learned in college did not prepare me for  the responsibility that a wife and mother is expected.

Being a wife takes time but I learn to adjust and make the best of what I can do like cooking meals, cleaning, doing laundry, shopping. These can be easily mastered in due time.

But the most challenging one that I experience is being a mother. First, we were not taught in school how to bathe a one day old baby. My mother of course taught me the basics and I became an expert on it. All the responsibilities and tasks that a mother is expected to do is very hard to accomplish but the joys and contentment that comes in seeing my daughters now worth all the hardships that I have experienced. I never forget what my sister told me that taking care of my daughters is a lifelong emotional investment. Now, I know that she is right for they are our endless source of joy, an inspiration, and a reminder of how God loved us so much that He let my husband and I experience what it is like to be His partner in making His miracle.
I am not a superwife nor a supermom but I find that this is indeed the best job in the world!

Heaven Is a Place on Earth

I am living heaven on earth when I found true love. First, I was not aware but looking back in childhood, I had a wonderful one and I owe it to my parents who loved me very much. I remember my father who plays with us and taught us to ride the bicycle. I was very happy then, I feel that I belong. And looking back on that, I can say that yes, heaven indeed is a place on earth.

When I said, "I do" to the person whom I love so much was another heavenly experience. He loved me so much that he is willing to commit and share the rest of his life with me and have our own family. That was an exhilarating experience to find someone who I can journey through life hand in hand. And then, another heavenly experience was when I saw and cradle in my arms my little angels. God is so wonderful He gave us heavenly gifts. My two daughters are our little bundles of joy. Every time they kiss and hug me, all my tired and weary bones stopped complaining. All I can feel is the love and joy that I felt every time I look at them and feel my cheeks all wet with their butterfly kisses.

This might be just an ordinary experience in someone else's eyes but these are heaven for me. Now, I know that heaven is not just a place. It is a state of being love and loving in return. For me, heaven is finding and experiencing true love, a kind of love that is down to  earth and Godly for it touches the innermost core of my being and make me feel inspired to become the best person I can possibly be.

True Happiness

Happiness for me is a feeling of satisfaction, contentment, bliss, pleasure, joy, and love. It is something which makes me feel good  from a job well done, feeling of satisfaction for finishing a task and the sense of satisfaction that comes with it.
Happiness can also be felt by seeing our loved ones and being with them. We are also happy if we feel loved and cared for. There are different levels of happiness. There are some happiness that can be felt in an instant but is not lasting. There are some kind of happiness that is deep and long-lasting.
It depends on the type of person you are. We have to know what makes us happy most, the kind of happiness that touches the heart is the ideal one because it is something that can sustain us for a lifetime.
Have you found your happiness?
I found mine 13 years ago when I gave up my job abroad and settle down and have a family of my own. We are not rich in terms of money but we are happy and contented. I found my never ending source of joy through my husband and my two daughters who sustains me through life's ups and downs.

Going with the Flow

Life indeed is full of surprises. As I look back for the past 5 years in my life many twists and turns happened that made my life at the moment a bliss. It is not perfect but it is close to where I want to be and how I want to feel.

I remembered my uncle who shared with me some life's lessons he learned. He told me that I should not go against the tide and go with the flow. I don't know what he meant by this at first but when I reflected on what happened I realized that indeed he was right.

Life is full of decisions and I don't believe so much in fate for I believe that we have the power to make our own destiny if we work and focus on what we want to happen in our lives.

I cared for my father and when he passed away, I was given a chance to pursue a short course in Medical Transcription. I found this as a welcome outlet after a period of grieving for my father whom I cared since he got sick.

This paved the way for me to become a teacher and share my knowledge as a physiotherapist to our Caregiving, Nursing Aid, and Medical Transcription students. I did not push for these things to happen, it sort of pop out of nowhere and was right in front of me that I just embrace it right away as it were the most natural thing to do.

I may not be an accomplished physiotherapist but I feel great that I have imparted knowledge to others. Seeing the students finish their course and work is one of the greatest accomplishment that I have done.
